| The first choice, in conjunction with your regularly scheduled stereotactic treatment day, we offer the option to use ultrasound-guidance and the Suros ATEC breast biopsy system to assure a successful biopsy of suspicious lesions best visualized under ultrasound. You can use your own ultrasound unit, or, if you prefer, our state-of-the-art BK Flex Focus scanner. We staff this service with an ARRT registered mammographer able to assist the physician performing the exam. |

| Our second option, we offer a separate stand-alone program if you would like to offer your patients ultrasound-guided breast biopsy exams done right in your office or Ambulatory Surgery Center. Our highly-skilled registered diagnostic medical sonographer (RDMS) brings the level of competence and confidence necessary to anchor a successful ultrasound breast biopsy program utilizing our BK Flexfocus ultrasound machine and Hologic's ATEC or Celero biopsy device. This service model allows our sonographer to skillfully facilitate the procedure from start to finish including assuming responsibility for patient care and localizing the lesion prior to the physician-performed biopsy to maximize efficient use of physician and ancillary staff time. |
